Muzeul este deschis in casa in care scriitorul si-a petrecut adolescenta. Prin efortul profesorului Sever Ursa, cu sprijinul localnicilor si contributia sotiei si fiicei scriitorului, s-a ridicat si amenajat casa memoriala.
