infiintat din initiativa unor intelectuali nasaudeni, are la baza colectiile lui Iuliu Moisil, Iulian Martian si Virgil sotropa. in 1937 aceste colectii sunt puse sub egida Arhivelor Statului - Subdirectia Nasaud. Muzeul este reorganizat in 1946 si mutat
